EPA
Eicosapentaenoic acid increases lipolysis through up-regulation of the lipolytic gene expression and down-regulation of the adipogenic gene expression in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.
In this study, we investigated the lipolytic effects of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. The differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocytes were treated in a serum-free medium with 300 muM of EPA for 3, 6, 12, and 24 h. In comparison with the control, intracellular lipid accumulation was significantly decreased by 24% at 24 h following the addition of EPA.These results imply that EPA attenuates lipid accumulation in adipocytes, possibly via down-regulation of PPAR-c andinduction of ACC gene expression. EPA may modulate lipid metabolism by stimulation of lipolysis, which was associated with induction of lipolytic gene expression and suppression of adipogenic gene expression in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.

pe cale alimentara vitamina D se poate obtine din peste (in special ulei de ficat de cod, somon, macrou, sardine), lapte, oua (galbenus)
vitamina D este supranumita si vitamina soarelui pentru ca razele ultraviolete (UVB mai exact) ajuta la sintetizarea vitaminei D la nivelul epidermei
aparatele mai noi de bronzat au introdus acum si lampi pentru UVB, intr-o incercare de a combate ideea ca bronzatul la aparat este nesanatos prin prezentarea avantajelor legate de sintetizarea vitaminei D. cu toate astea, cred ca marea majoritate a aparatelor de la noi emit doar radiatii UVA
exista o gramada de studii care au dovedit efectul carcinogenic al radiatiilor ultraviolete (si UVB si UVA). in plus, au si un efect de imbatranire mai rapida a pielii
in ultimii 3-4 ani am mers saptamanal la solar iarna. acum cred ca nu merita riscul, chiar daca nu mai arat asa bine nebronzat :-)
vara e chiar recomandat sa stai 15-30 min pe zi la soare fara crema de protectie (chiar si mai mult daca nu te arzi). persoanele tinere sintetizeaza mai multa vitamina D. cam dupa 50 de ani sinteza vitaminei D in piele nu se mai produce. e interesant ca vitamina D are efect anti-imbatranire dar dupa 50 de ani nu se mai sintetizeaza :-)
recomand suplimentarea alimentatiei cu ulei de ficat de cod de la lysi sau ulei de peste cu vitamina D de la biofarm. doza zilnica recomandata (in lipsa de soare) este de 400 UI de D3

Moderate alcohol consumption is suggested to be associated with reduced inflammation and morbidity. Human adipose tissue (AT) and obesity is characterised by low-grade inflammation, so the present study wanted to investigate the effects of ethanol on inflammation in human AT in vitro. Subcutaneous human AT was incubated with ethanol [11-88mM] under non- or LPS-stimulated [50mg/mL] conditions. Protein and mRNA levels of adiponectin, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-alpha, MCP-1, and CD68 were assessed using ELISA and real-time RT-PCR, respectively. Non-stimulated, ethanol incubations up to 24h increased adiponectin release and mRNA expression (p<0.01)>0.05). In conclusion, ethanol exerts anti-inflammatory effects in human AT, suggesting that ethanol may attenuate whole-body inflammation.
